Aquele dia em que fomos parar à NiT

That day we ended up in NiT

Yesterday was a day of so much love, so much indeed.
I'm still trying to land after seeing our story - my story - emblazoned in an article in NiT. In NiT!
The whole process seemed unreal, and it was even more surreal to read about what, not long ago, was just a rough draft of ideas mixed with an immense desire to change my life.
The article talks about the burnout that forced me to stop and rethink everything. At that moment, the ground gave way beneath me. But, ironically, it was this shake-up that gave me what I needed but didn't have the courage to ask for: time. Time to heal, time to clear my head, and time to take €200 and start something of my own, at my own pace.
Reading the piece, published by Daniela, made my life flash before my eyes. I immediately remembered the endless hours in my parents' basement, which became our headquarters and a true family workshop. Having the support of my mother, father, sister, and boyfriend helping with the first prototypes was the foundation that held me up. And everything we make handmade at easybreezy still carries that original energy: handcrafted pieces, sewn slowly, with great respect for those who make them, here in the North. Designed with the best materials, from waterproof fabrics to cotton, no shortcuts and no nonsense.
It's impossible to read about our growth or about the shelves of the MARY store, in Cedofeita, without mentally returning to the markets. Especially to May 2024, to Mercado da Alegria. To that indescribable nervousness and the immeasurable emotion when Constança and her mother, Rita, made our first official purchase. They were the first to believe in these cushions outside my comfort zone. It was at that exact moment that the dream became real.
This is easybreezy. An ode to simplicity, to days when the only concern is the sea breeze, and to the beauty of slow living.
If you haven't seen it yet, I invite you to check out the piece and read the full article here: read on NiT.
Thank you for being there. For reading, for buying, for sharing, and for making our breeze continue to blow so lightly.
Breathe in, breathe out, and don't freak out.
Marta
